Ladybug Arrays

Hi there!!

I can't believe the end of the school year is only 5 WEEKS away!!!  In second grade, that means we are about to begin learning multiplication strategies and my kiddos are super anxious to start learning "times" as they say. ;)  We are also about to begin our Life Cycles unit in science which means ladybugs, butterflies and plants will be another focus in our classroom.

I decided to combine the two and create Ladybug Arrays as a fun way to learn about arrays as a multiplication strategy AND to get some cute ladybugs up on the walls of our classroom! :)  Click here to head to my TpT store and check it out!

What subjects are you focusing on with your kiddos for the last few weeks of the year?

Schedule Card Freebie!

Welcome to Skipping Through Second Grade!

I can finally check "get blog going!" off of my to-do list! Yay!  I have been thinking about doing this for so long so that I could have a place to record all the up's and down's of my first year of teaching as well as some things that I've created.  I try to create products that help simplify and make my teacher-life a little bit easier so hopefully by sharing what I create, it'll help make someone else's life a little bit easier, too. :)

With that being said, I thought I would introduce my blog with a FREEBIE!

I created these schedule cards with both types of clocks in mind in order to give my kids more exposure to recognizing time both digitally and on an analog clock.  I couldn't really find any schedule cards on TpT with area to show the time in both ways so I created these.  Click here or on the pictures above to download these cute schedule cards for your classroom!

I am so excited to share more freebies and teaching ideas so keep an eye out for more to come soon!

xoxo, Tammy
